Business Immigration

A. The Ministerial Instruction Class: Category 1

Qualifying applicants must obtain 67 points on the Points Selection System and have at least one year of work experience (in the last 10 years) on the Occupation List. There is now an annual cap of 10,000 visas issued each year (Prorman is closed until January, 2013) in this category and a maximum of 1000 applications per occupation. Applicants must have Settlement Funds to support their family in Canada if do not have Arranged Employment.

B. The Ministerial Instruction Class: Category 2

Applicants must have Arranged Employment (AE) approved by Service Canada – this is the key to qualifying under this category!

C. Canadian Experience Class

The Canadian Experience Class


The Canadian Experience Class is one avenue for immigration for temporary foreign workers and foreign student graduates with work experience in Canada.

The temporary foreign workers and foreign graduates are ideal candidates for permanent residency in Canada. As they have already completed their studies in Canada and / or they have gained experience in the Canadian labor market, these individuals have already settled into Canadian society and in their communities and careers.
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is to assist these applicants in particular. The minimum requirements are different for the two types of applicants.

Quebec Immigration - Skilled Worker Program

The selection system in Quebec immigration for skilled workers is used to determine which applicants are able to become economically established in Quebec.

Skilled workers, intending to settle in Montreal or another city in the province of Quebec are selected according to criteria different from those required of applicants who wish to settle elsewhere in Canada . selection certificate Quebec (CSQ) is issued to applicants who fulfill the criteria of the selection system for immigration to Quebec. To qualify for a Quebec Selection Certificate, the skilled worker must obtain a minimum of  49 points as a function of the Quebec selection grid below. If the applicant has a spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner, a minimum of  57 points is required.

Canada Immigration - Skilled Worker Program

The application deadline for the program of Skilled workers and professionals has been reached. Applicants who have an offer for arranged employment or who are pursuing or have earned a doctorate in Canada may apply.The skilled worker applications are assessed on a total of six factors. These selection factors are designed to determine who is able to become economically established in Canada.To be eligible to apply for Canadian immigration visa (permanent residence), applicants for the Skilled Worker (Professional) must:* Have at least one year of continuous work experience (or equivalent), and paid over the 10 years preceding the application within one of the professions of the list of 29 occupations most in demand, or
