وقد دعت مقاطعة ساسكاتشوان 853 مرشحًا في فئتيها الفرعية للهجرة الي كندا في برنامج "الدخول السريع" Express Entry و "المهن تحت الطلب" Occupations In-Demand  لتقديم طلب ترشيح إقليمي في أكبر عملية سحب من خلال برنامجها الجديد للهجرة International Skilled Worker Expression of Interest pool

وقد وجهت دعوات إلى ما مجموعه 359 مرشحا من الفئة الفرعية للدخول السريع في القرعة التي أجريت في 10 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر ، وكانت الدرجة الأدنى في المرتبة 60 في اطار شبكه تقييم النقاط في ساسكاتشوان.

ووجهت دعوات لتقديم طلبات أخرى إلى 494 مرشحا آخر في الفئة الفرعية للمهن في ساسكاتشوان. وكانت الدرجة الأدنى في التصنيف بين هؤلاء المرشحين 63.

The selection system in Quebec immigration for skilled workers is used to determine which applicants are able to become economically established in Quebec.

Skilled workers, intending to settle in Montreal or another city in the province of Quebec are selected according to criteria different from those required of applicants who wish to settle elsewhere in Canada . A selection certificate Quebec (CSQ) is issued to applicants who fulfill the criteria of the selection system for immigration to Quebec. To qualify for a Quebec Selection Certificate, the skilled worker must obtain a minimum of  49 points as a function of the Quebec selection grid below. If the applicant has a spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner, a minimum of  57 points is required.

Applicants who have an offer for arranged employment or who are pursuing or have earned a doctorate in Canada may apply.The skilled worker applications are assessed on a total of six factors. These selection factors are designed to determine who is able to become economically established in Canada.To be eligible to apply for Canadian immigration visa (permanent residence), applicants for the Skilled Worker (Professional) must:* Have at least one year of continuous work experience (or equivalent), and paid over the 10 years preceding the application within one of the professions of the list of 29 occupations most in demand, or
    * Be eligible for arranged employment with an offer of full-time employment from a Canadian employer or
